a gentle slide from shoulder down
the warmth, like summer air
the faint feeling of your energy
as fingertips graze fine hair

the taste of sweat, the lingering
the heaviness of bones
the movements become melody
and breath, sonorous moans

the tinge of pain, the promises
the acceptance I assure
the need you bleed into demand
begs me to ask for more

the velocity and happenstance
the way your eyes entice
