by a a blanket that nurtures
recognizing need for touch
compression
for hearts that stop
and need reviving

in one’s gaze
a marveled vista
when you are loved
held captive, displayed
in museums of joy
within their eyes

given space
where you may be heard
permitted without remark
allowing you to float
beside a soul with an ocean
of love for you
